Toyota has launched the third update of the premium luxury SUV, The Toyota Land Cruiser Prado 2018.
The facelift of the SUV was first unveiled at the Frankfurt Motor Show and then the premium SUV was showcased at the 2018 Auto Expo event. Toyota Prado 2018 comes with a single variant VXL.
The 7-seater SUV is available in India @ Rs.92.62 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).

The all new Prado 2018 gets a refreshed look with a significant number of changes. The Prado comes with a new bonnet and an all-new Chrome grill.
The SUV also gets a redesigned headlamp with LED projector units and daytime running lights (DRLs). The tail lamps also are all LED now.
The bumper design for both the front and rear side are revised and look very refreshing. At the rear side, the tailgate comes with a number plate in place of the spare wheel housing.
The dashboard consists of an all-new 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system and below the screen is neatly placed 3-zone climate control system.
The premium SUV also comes with heated front seats and active headrest. Thus provides a comfortable driving pleasure.
The interiors carry the typical Toyota flare. The SUV has a newly designed instrument cluster and electrically adjustable steering wheel.
Some other important features in the Toyota Prado 2018 are Cruise control, rear parking camera and Toyota’s newest technology, the Kinetic Dynamic Suspension (KDSS). The KDSS gives the option of 3 modes viz., Comfort, Normal and Sport.
The 2018 Prado also comes with air suspension at the rear.
Toyota never compromises on Safety standards and there is no chance of doing the same on their newest premium offering.
The Toyota Prado India 2018 includes seven airbags, ABS with EBD, in addition to Brake assists and vehicle stability control.
The SUV also has Tyre pressure monitoring system and angle sensors.
ENGINE SPECIFICATIONS AND PERFORMANCE:
The 2018 Toyota Prado is powered by a 3.0 litre, 4-cylinder diesel engine. The SUV does not have a petrol variant whatsoever.
The SUV generates a power of 173 PS and an astonishing peak Torque of 410 Nm. An awful lot of power is transmitted equally to all four wheels and give sheer driving pleasure.
The SUV can be an extreme off-roader due to the new features like a Multi-terrain monitor with four cameras and a panoramic monitor and crawl control.
